Thanks to the A20 and the secondary highway to the island of Rügen (B96n), the journey to Stralsund is fast and uncomplicated. You simply navigate to the following address: Bleistraße 8 - 9, 18439 Stralsund A parking lot can be found in the 24/7-opened parking garage “Parkhaus am Neuen Markt” (address: Frankenwall 24k) or at the parking area on the ‘Neuer Markt’ (engl.: New Market) (Mo.-Fr. 9am-6pm fee required / Sa. 9am-1pm fee required / So. cost-free / maximum park duration: 3h within fee required periods)
As a railway junction, Stralsund is easily and comfortably accessible from any direction with the Deutsche Bahn. From Rostock you can reach Stralsund Central Station (HBF) within 50 minutes, from Berlin Central Station within three hours and from Hamburg Central Station within three and a half hours. From the train station our aparthotel can be reached within five minutes by taxi. Alternatively, you can enjoy a nice 15-minutes-walk to the historic oldtown. You simply need to walk towards to the harbour. By bus you reach the aparthotel within 7 minutes. Take bus line 1, 4 or 60 towards the oldtown and leave at the bus station ‘Knieperwall’. Cross the street ‘Tribseer Straße’ to enter the street ‘Marienstraße’. Follow this street and take the next possibility to your left to enter the Bleistraße. After 150 meters you will stand in front of the ‘Aparthotel an St. Marien’.
From Munich, Cologne and Stuttgart as well as from Zurich you can fly non-stop to Rostock. Bus line 127 takes you from the airport terminals to Rostock Central Train Station (approx. 35 min.). From there you can reach Stralsund via train (Deutsche Bahn) within 50 minutes. Alternatively, you can take the transfer bus from the airport to the island of Rügen. The bus takes you from the airport terminals in Rostock directly to Stralsund Central Bus Station. (cost: 25,00 € per person).
